Privacy Policy

In short: We collect the account and business information needed to generate your reports and run your subscription. We don't sell your data. Payment details are handled directly by Creem, our payment provider, not by us.

1. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains what information Logic Scan ("we," "us") collects when you use the Service at logicscan.app, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

2. Information we collect

3. How we use your information

To generate the business analysis reports you request, using AI models and live public web search;
To create and manage your account, and keep track of your report history;
To operate subscriptions and usage limits tied to your plan;
To respond to support requests;
To maintain the security and reliability of the Service.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. AI processing and public data

Generating a report involves sending the business information you submit, together with live web search results about that business, to an AI model (currently Claude, by Anthropic) to produce the analysis. This processing happens at the time of your request; we do not use your submissions to train AI models.

5. Payment processing via Creem

Paid subscriptions are billed through Creem, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. When you subscribe, your payment details (card number, billing address, etc.) are collected and processed directly by Creem under its own privacy policy and terms — we do not receive or store this information ourselves. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status (e.g., active plan, renewal date) to manage your account access.

6. Other service providers

We use third-party infrastructure providers to run the Service, such as authentication/database hosting for accounts and report history, and AI providers for report generation. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes beyond providing their service to us.

7. Data retention

We keep account and report data for as long as your account is active, so you can access your report history. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize this data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

8. Your choices

You can access and update most of your account information directly within the Service. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or ask us questions about how it's used, by contacting us at the email below.

9. Cookies

The Service uses essential cookies/local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences (such as language and theme). We don't currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
